MilMatch – AI-Powered Military Role Matching Platform

Objective

This system is an AI-based recommendation tool designed to suggest suitable military roles based on predefined criteria. By analyzing personal information, skills, and experience, it evaluates compatibility with various positions and provides tailored role recommendations. The system integrates structured role requirements with intelligent matching algorithms to support informed decision-making in military career planning.

Guitar Tone Style Transfer

About the Project

This project involves building a zero-shot, one-to-many guitar tone modeling system using machine learning. Inspired by amplifier and voice style transfer research, it focuses on tone embedding control for real-time audio transformation, enabling flexible and instant guitar tone customization without physical equipment.

Optical Distance Measurement

About the Project

I worked on designing a cost-effective distance measurement method by combining optical triangulation with image processing techniques. The goal was to create a solution that could be deployed in environments with limited hardware capabilities, ensuring accurate measurements without the need for expensive sensors.

Graduation Hat Image Generator

November 2021 - April 2022

About the Project

I developed a Python application that used face recognition to generate personalized graduation hat images. This tool automated what used to be a manual and time-consuming process, ultimately producing over 250 images that were proudly featured in the school’s yearbook and graduation ceremony.

WeChat Student Body App

April 2019 - June 2022

About the Project

I built and managed a WeChat in-app tool tailored for the student body of Shanghai High School. The app enabled students to stay connected through event promotions, charity merchandise sales, and general communications. By 2021, it had grown to serve over 800 active users, becoming an essential part of the school community.

At Purun Gongbubang Community Child Care Center in Seoul, I taught programming and mathematics to elementary and middle school students after earning my Level 1 Coding Instructor Certification from the Korea Institute for Qualification. I focused on making coding approachable and enjoyable, helping students build confidence in problem-solving while sparking their curiosity for STEM learning.

Aside from teaching, I donated two computers and received a recognition award for my contributions. I am also developing an AI-guided English learning program, enabling children—especially from low-income families with limited access to teachers or technology—to learn English interactively and bridge educational gaps.
